Swamp Pop Music is alive and well as demonstrated by the large and enthusiastic crowd that attended the Swamp Pop Reunion VI Monday, March 7! The City of Ville Platte hosted its annual event for the benefit of the Louisiana Swamp Pop Museum, which opened in our community last fall. This musical extravaganza brought hundreds of visitors from throughout Louisiana, as well as Texas, Alabama, Wyoming, and even the Netherlands!
INCLUDED : Rod Bernard, V.J. Boulet, Austin Broussard, Roy Chaffin, Guitar Gable, Jivin' Gene, T.K. Hulin, Charles Mann, Tommy McLain, Jerry Raines, Jay Randall, G.G.
